We are back!
And with good news. As a burger lover you should get to know our third burger shop.
Today we are off to the Burger Lab!
The Burger Lab is located in the notorious Sternschanze and belongs to the not so secret insider tips of the district. The ambience portrays a relaxed living room atmosphere: large sofa, sunken-in armchairs, a sunny terrace and staff radiating friendliness and charm.
The menu truly fulfils all of your wishes. There are also daily burger specials which occasionally end up on the regular menu.
The meat is perfectly cooked to hue as pink as a baby’s bottom, the buns are heavenly and the burgers are not only creative but also tastefully seasoned. The Brie Burger is a true revelation, featuring a combination of arugula, brie, onion jam and truffle mayonnaise. The Veggie Burger comes with a beet and black bean patty and zesty chipotle aioli, which convinces even the sworn carnivores among us.
And last but not least! Although the Pulled Pork Burger is popping up on many menus these days, we have to mention it here. Rarely have we tried pulled pork which lives up to its name, but Burger Lab’s Pulled Pork Burger is unbelievably juicy and leaves a pleasant hint of lemon on the tongue. The bun is also wonderfully firm so it doesn’t immediately fall apart. Top-notch!
The sides are just as delicious: We have Sweet Potato Fries with five different dips, naturally all of them being homemade, as well as the Asian Cole Slaw, featuring a refreshing ginger sesame dressing.
All in all: You can rely on Burger Lab and we can’t urge you enough to give it a go. You won’t regret it. Promise!
