Honestly, do you like small talk?
We always jabber away about the most trivial of things: “… So, what’s the weather like” “Have you heard Trump’s latest embarrassing outburst?” “…Back in the day everything was better!”
Can’t we do something more important with our time? A country that brought us Hegel, Kant and Schopenhauer, yet we still yammer about the weather?!
No.
No, from now on we will ask only deeply profound questions. Yes! We are searching for the meaning of life.
What is happiness? What makes us happy?
The answer, dear reader, is simple.
Ice cream.
Ice cream makes us happy, perfectly happy.
For what is better than the delicate melting of ice cream on one’s tongue? Than the sensual snapping of a cold piece of chocolate? Than the seductive deliquescing of caramel sauce?
That’s right. NOTHING.
Ice cream heals all wounds, conjures a smile onto every face, and we are convinced that if everybody could eat as much ice cream as they please, the whole world peace thing would work out much better.
So get cracking, this recipe is for your wellbeing!
As Nietzsche once said: “You need two things in life to make you happy: good friends and a good ice cream machine.”
Directions:
For the ice cream, mix the milk, cream and sugar together. Freeze the mixture in the Unold Ice Cream Maker Professional.
For the caramel, caramelise the sugar in a pan. Add butter and cream and boil down for 5 minutes while constantly stirring. When the caramel becomes gooey, allow to cool. Add the cooled caramel and macadamia nuts bit by bit to the ice cream. Before serving, top with caramel sauce and nuts.
