BEEF TARTAR WITH CHILI CORN
Beef tartar is and will always be a classic, one that is far too underrated. Try this instead of an ordinary slice of toast. You won’t regret it.
Beef Tatar with Chili Corn
150g beef fillet
1 tbsp mustard
5-6 cornichons
20g capers
Small bundle of parsley
1 small shallot onion
Salt and black pepper
1 small can of corn
1 red chili pepper
1 tbsp butter
1 slice brown bread
Directions:
Finely dice beef fillet, cornichons, shallot onion, and capers. Mix together and add salt and pepper to taste. Wash chili pepper and cut into thin slices after removing the core. Put buttered slice of brown bread into a hot pan and fry on one side until golden-brown. As soon as the bread is finished, remove it and put the chili pepper slices in the pan. Allow these to quickly sweat and then add the corn. Season with a pinch of salt.
Finally, spread tartar and chili-corn onto the slice of bread.
