A new gem, a new destination, but definitely not a newcomer in its business – “Quentin’s Burger Bar” has been around for a year in St. Pauli now, in the immediate vicinity of the Reeperbahn.
The restaurant, shaped by the charm of Tarantino films, has a pleasant and charmingly styled atmosphere. This is also reflected in the menu.
There is, for one, the Mia Burger which gets its name from the drug-addicted wife of the gangster boss Marsellus Wallace in the film “Pulp Fiction”.
With its juicy tomato-mozzarella patty, roasted capsicum, gherkins, red onions and salad greens, the burger is simply staggering. The flavour is rounded off with the homemade red and green pesto sauce. There’s nothing more to say except: “… Mhmhmh … that’s a very tasty burger …”

Beef tartar is and will always be a classic, one that is far too underrated. Try this instead of an ordinary slice of toast. You won’t regret it.

Intense, aromatic… Admittedly a hot cup of coffee can be invigorating. But honestly, isn’t that way to mainstream? Anybody can make coffee, we’re already on the next level of celebrating our breakfast.

Es soll tatsächlich Menschen geben, die ohne ihren täglichen Kick Koffein nicht mal den großen Zeh bewegen können. Munkelt man. Intensiv, aromatisch – Zugegeben, so eine heiße Tasse Kaffee kann schon belebend sein. Aber ganz ehrlich – ist uns das nicht viel zu Mainstream? After an arduous journey through the city, we walk into the next burger palace for once again a civil - a "bürgerlich" - meal.
The “Burgerlich”, directly by the Domplatz, doesn’t just score highly with creative burger ideas but also with the local ingredients used. Any products used carry the “homemade” label or are produced locally.
